Как рассказал Рамирес, Адамо реконструировал римские интерьеры в производственной студии Неаполя. «Множество отделочников, художников и декораторов потратило много недель, создавая Римскую империю, сенат, резиденции римской знати, палатки армии Цезаря, кварталы рабов и бордели Рима. Когда работа была закончена и включились юпитеры, Рим Цезаря и Марка Антония поднялся из пепела».
«Внешнюю часть древнего Рима было трудно воспроизвести. Антонио нашел в Неаполе некоторые места, которые напоминали древний Рим, но для остального, как и в Голливуде, Антонио снимал перед зеленым экраном. В процессе пост-производства команда компьютерных графиков Daring трансформировала это живое изображение в древний Рим».
