Доп. информация: Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri родился 29 февраля 1944 в Венеции. Свое обучение он начал в Академии изящных искусств в Риме, где стал учеником Renato Guttuso. Serpieri изучал живопись и архитектуру. В 1960х годах он занимался живописью, получая лестные отзывы критики. В 1975 г. Serpieri обратился к жанру комикса. Вместе с писателем Raffaele Ambrosio была создана серия историй о диком западе, опубликованная в журналах Lancio Story и Skorpio. Популярны из этой серии, напрмиер, 'L'Indiana Bianca' и 'L'Uomo di Medicina'. Начиная с 1980 Paolo Serpieri работает над сборниками 'L'Histoire du Far-West' and 'Découvrir la Bible', а также короткими рисованными историями для таких журналов как L'Eternauta, Il Fumetto и Orient-Express. В 1985 г. он создал сагу "Druuna", многие части которой публиковались на протяжении девяностых: 'Morbus Gravis', 'Creatura', 'Carnivora', 'Mandragora', 'Aphrodisia', 'Obsession', 'Druuna X' and 'Croquis'.
