Маскарад - интересный и красивый сериал, в котором хентай является важной частью сюжета. Особо хочется выделить замечательную музыку.
Завязка сюжета:
Ген Хирага - молодой парень. Он жил вместе с матерью и не знал о существовании других родственников. Но после смерти матери, Ген неожиданно получает приглашение от своей бабушки. Приехав, он вспоминает, что уже был здесь 12 лет назад и с тех пор ему снится странный сон, в котором он видит красивую женщину под цветущей сакурой. После переезда жизнь Гена стремительно меняется, вокруг происходит много странных событий. Но ему ещё только предстоит узнать о проклятии рода Хирага...
Опенинг и эндинг полностью отсутствуют.
К сожалению, присутствует цензура. Нет, речь не идёт об опостылевших квадратиках. Здесь всё хитрее. Мужские органы изображаются полупрозрачными, почти невидимыми. Женские же не видно из-за используемых ракурсов камеры.

Жанр «ужасы» к этому сериалу никакого отношения не имеет. Здесь нет жестокости и чувство страха при просмотре не возникает. Ответственность за всю мистику несёт Беатрис, но она - вампир.
