Anhand von Computersimulationen zeigt der Film, dass die Klitoris etwa zehnmal größer ist, als zumeist angenommen und doppelt so groß, wie es die Illustrationen der Fachleute vermuten lassen. Und der Film berichtet, wie dieses geheimnisvolle Organ in der Vergangenheit immer wieder mit dem Bann gesellschaftlicher Konventionen, der Kirche und auch der Psychoanalyse belegt wurde. Als der Belgier Edouard Van Beneden im Jahr 1875 die Mechanismen der Befruchtung entdeckte, wurde die Klitoris zum (überflüssigen Organ) erklärt und gegenüber der Vagina als eigentlichem Geschlechts- und Lustorgan geradezu verteufelt. Dr. Baker Brown, Vorsitzender der British Medical Society, verdächtigte die Klitoris gar, Hysterie, Epilepsie oder andere Formen des Wahnsinns zu verursachen und predigte die Beschneidung. Erst hundert Jahre später wird allmählich damit begonnen, die weibliche Sexualität ebenso genau zu erforschen wie die männliche. Die Dokumentation räumt auf mit dem Mythos vom Unterschied zwischen Vagina- und Klitoris-Frauen sowie der Existenz des G-Punktes.
