A young Colorado man, vibrant and swim-built Scott Andersen, sets out to meet his idol, porn star J.W. King, in San Francisco after having sex with his roommate (David Walcox) one more time. Close-ups detail much of their sex and head-over-heels fucking, as well as both of their faces.
While hitchhiking, uncut Andersen is "made" to suck off a highway patrolman, Clint Lockner. To baritone talk like, "Take hold of it" and "Put your mouth on it," Andersen chokes on and eats his large hard-on as the camera glimpses things like the officer's leathers and paraphernalia in an effort to intensify Andersen's fear and distaste. Lockner blows his wad in the youth's mouth after a long and hearty face-fucking.
In San Francisco, Andersen looks for King at a gym, where he sees a blow job being given in the locker room. He's told about a nearby J.W. King film festival which he goes to, missing a dynamite three-way between three hunks in the gym (Will Seagers, Mickey Squires and Miles Mitchell). The scene is appropriately climactic, both sexually charged and heart-warming. King shows us why he was a king of gay sex films with his enthusiastic sucking, fucking and kissing. When was the last time you saw a man in a film devour another man he's kissing? King's magnificent face, body, cock, and uninhibited lovemaking are memorable. Andersen, unfortunately, does not live up to King, his co-star.
Photography is at times faded or fuzzy, especially in the theater scene, but it's a fine tribute to older men, J.W. King, gay life and pre-AIDS sex.
