I don't speak Russian and I'm afraid that the there will be some detail got glossed over. So I'll give you a rundown in English:
I’ve overhauled the originals by stripping out the SAR/DAR and converting everything to a 1:1 PAR. As the modern monitors and TVs favor square pixels over the rectangle ones . I also shaved 8px off the sides to get rid of those ugly edges. That’s why the resolution looks a bit unique and includes a slight upscale on one side.
Moreover,I put some serious work into cleaning up old artifacts using AV1 encoding, so the file sizes are much leaner without losing quality. Since this is a massive step up from a standard DVDRip, I’ve tagged it as "Remastered."
