Il faut tout recommencer, tout est fou! Les B.O.F se sont enrichis ce qui n'est pas le cas de tout le monde. Quand on a 16 ans et rien que des billes en poche, on chaparde les économies de son copain de classe et on quitte son bien triste village natal pour les lumières de la ville.
Perdu sur la Butte Montmartre parmi les titis parigots qui n'ont pas froid aux yeux, Victor se lance dans l'aventure citadine avec pour seul repère l'adresse de sa soeur aînée. Pauv'môme qui vivote en vendant ses charmes. Son jules lui rafle tout alors elle file droit. Les poulbots qui jouent aux billes sur le terrain vague veulent se garder leurs belles agates pour eux mais devant la peau douce et fraîche de Victor, les marchandages vont bon train et plus d'un va craquer. Il mène bien sa barque, celui-là, et devient même un vrai poulbot gouailleur.
Il va découvrir sans retenue aussi bien le Paris des peintres de Montparnasse que celui des rupins des beaux quartiers.
Synopsis
Paris 1945!
Everything's got to start over: everything's mad! Only the spivs are rich. When you're 16 with nothing but marbles in your pocket, you nick your schoolmate's savings and leave your home town for the bright lights of the city.
Lost among the cute waifs and strays in Montmartre, Victor embarks on his city adventure with his sister's address as his only lifeline - a poor girl who survives by selling her charms and whose man nabs everything as soon as she gets it. The kids who play marbles on the wasteland keep their precious things to themselves but faced with Victor's fresh skin, the haggling starts and more than one of them gives in. He realises his worth and soon starts touting for business.
He'll discover the artists of bohemian Montparnasse, as well as the riches of the smart districts.
